High Ridehalgh Farm

This stunning Paragraph 80 replacement dwelling is the epitome of harmonious living, seamlessly incorporating timeless tradition with contemporary elegance.

Situated on the plot of the original farmhouse, the design promotes an ethos of reuse by incorporating the original stone into its energy-efficient construction. The result is a stunning, contemporary upgrade that respects the heritage of the rural countryside.

The client's vision for this home was to create a spacious, contemporary dwelling for their family that would also allow them to work from home as dog breeders. To achieve this, the narrow three-bed dwelling was replaced with a five-bed property that includes open plan living accommodation, a snug, office, bathroom, en suites, utility, and w/c.

The interior of the home is warm and welcoming, with every detail thoughtfully crafted to create a comfortable living space. The living area is spacious and filled with natural light, with high ceilings that create a sense of airiness. The kitchen is a beautiful space, complete with high-end finishes and appliances that are perfect for entertaining.

The bedrooms are serene and cosy, each with its own unique style that provides a relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor space is tranquil and perfect for al fresco dining and relaxation. With its prime location, modern design, and luxurious features, this home is truly a gem.

Constructed using state-of-the-art Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs), this new dwelling offers superior thermal efficiency and sustainability, making use of renewable energy systems and locally sourced materials. The meticulous design journey encompassed a collaborative effort with industry leaders, culminating in a cutting-edge and visionary replacement dwelling, confidently approved for countryside construction by the planning authority.
